The Correlational Research On Helicobacter Pylori-related Gastritis And Helicobacter Pylori Infection In Tongue Coating As Well As Tongue Images Of Traditional Chinese Medicine

OBJECTTVE:To observe TCM syndrome and the features of the picture of tongue in TCM collected from patients with Helicobacter pylori associated gastritis in clinic; to detect the existence of H. pylori on tongue through nested polymerase chain reaction; to understand the relationship between the tongue coating infected by H. pylori and the picture of tongue in TCM; to detect the relativity of tongue coating infected by H. pylori and helicobacter pylori-related gastritis, and explore the feasibility of diagnosis of H. pylori infection from tongue coating.METHODS:The clinical part:first select cases of the13C or14C urea breath test (UBT) or Rapid urease test (RUT)according to registration order,80cases involved, including54positive patients and26negative patients, then record the clinical materials of these patients and classify the data by TCM syndrome and tongue manifestation, at last make a statistical analysis of the final results.The Lab section: first detect the H. pylori in stomach by using the Rapid urease test or13C or14C urea breath test (UBT), then detect the existence of H. pylori on tongue through nested polymerase chain reaction by using the Heat Shock Proteins HSP60gene as it’s primers; record the associated testing results of the nested polymerase chain reaction.The statistical method:carry out four space form card square examination to the data results in SPSS15.0.RESULTS:The clinical part:the Infection probability of stomach with H. pylori from high to low according to TCM syndrome is as follows:Heat-Wet in Spleen and Stomach (26examples)、Liver-stomach disharmony (18examples)、weakness of spleen and stomach(7examples)、Deficiency of stomach-yin(3examples).The positive rate of the tongue color is as follows:violet deep)pink tongue) red tongue. The Lab section:It found54UBT or PCR-positive,26UBT or PCR negative,44PCR-positive cases and36PCR-negative cases. Enter the data into SPSS15.0by the format of the four tabular, then carry out four space form card square examination (two McNemar test, P=0.061>0.05), which indicated a good coincidence regarding to these two results. It also showed that there was a detectable link between UBT-positive and PCR positive.CONCLUSIONS:1.The common clinical manifestation of helicobacter pylori-related gastritis was Heat-Wet in Spleen and Stomach, Liver-stomach disharmony and yellow thick tongue coating.2.There were44copies positive by using PCR testing and H. pylori amplification products were obtained in all these cases, which showed that it is true that H. pylori exists in coated tongue really.3. There is correlation between tongue coating H. pylori and stomach H. pylori, which provide experimental basis for the diagnosis of H. pylori infection from tongue coating4.Tongue is the main storage site of the H. pylori, which is one of the possible reasons for the infection and palindromia of H. pylori in stomach.
