Expression Analysis Of IGF-1and TGF-β1in Human Nasal Polyp | | Posted on:2014-10-17 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:Y N Xu | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2254330425983347 | Subject:Otorhinolaryngology | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | ObjectiveThe aim of this study was to evalueate the expression and effect ofinsulin-like growth factor1(IGF-1),transforming growth factorβ1(TGF-β1) inhuman nasal polyp.MethodsPatients were divided into the study group and the control group.Thestudy group was the nasal polyp,the control group was the mucosa of inferiorturbinate.We measured the expression of IGF-1and TGF-β1usingimmunohistochemistry and RT-PCR andanalyze the relationship betweenIGF-1and TGF-β1.ResultsThe mean the percentage of IGF-1positive cells was(46.87±7.50)%instudy group and(2.33±0.60)%in the control group.The mean percentage ofTGF-β1positive cells was(57.65±13.17)%in study group and(4.61±3.35)%in the control group.With statistical analysis,the study group wassignificantly higher than the control group (P<0.05)The expression of IGF-1mRNA was9.06±3.78in study group and2.02±0.66in the control group. The expression of TGF-β1mRNA was17.09±5.19in study group and2.33±1.08in the control group. With statistical analysis,thestudy group was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05)and theexpression of IGF-1and TGF-β1were correlated(P<0.05).
