| Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Chinese Traditional medicine bath and Chinese Traditional medicine-Jing Tan Kang Capsule on the improvement of muscular tension in spastic cerebral palsy.Method:72cases with the definite diagnosis as spastic cerebral palsy were randomized divided into observation group(38cases, treated with Chinese Traditional medicine bath and Chinese Traditional medicine-Jing Tan Kang Capsule plus kinesitherapy and western medicine) and a control group(34cases, treated with only kinesitherapy and western medicine).By observing the muscular tension score between the two groups before and after treatment, we compared the clinical efficacy on the improvement of muscular tension.Result:The total effective rate of the observation group was92%,while the control group was70%, presenting the statistical significant difference(P<0.05). In the observation of the relationship between age and efficacy, the efficiency and significant efficiency in cases younger than one-year-old(including one-year-old) were much better than cases older than one-year-old (P<0.05).Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of Chinese Traditional medicine bath and Chinese Traditional medicine-Jing Tan Kang Capsule was obviously effective in reducing the muscular tension in spastic cerebral palsy. It could be a good way to improve the symptoms of the patients with spastic cerebral palsy. |
