Purpose:By observing the changes of muscle tension and motor function in children with spastic cerebral palsy, to probe the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and conventional therapy.Method:60cases of spastic cerebral palsy was randomly divided into observation and control group,30cases for each group. Patients of control group were recived conventional therapy (including neurotrophic medicines, exercise therapy, occupation therapy, acupuncture, massage, physical therapy, etc.),30days a course, a total of three courses; And the patients of observation group supplemented traditional Chinese medicine fumigation based on conventional therapy with the same courses. Assessing the muscle tension and motor function to observe the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation treatment and combine with conventional therapy. Results:After three courses of treatment, we found there was no statistic difference in efficiency between the observation and the control group (P>0.05). But the significant efficiency of the improvement of the motor function in observation group (53.33%was superior to the control group(40%), and the significant efficiency of the improvement of the muscle tension in observation group (40%)was also superior to the control group(30%).In the observation of the relationship between age and efficacy, the efficiency and significant efficiency in cases younger than12months were much better than cases older than12mounths (P<0.01).Conclusion:In the treatment of children with spastic cerebral palsy, the efficiency of trsditional Chinese medicine fumigation visit better on improving muscle tension and the motor function of children with spastic cerebral palsy. |
