Objective:This is a paper of randomized controlled design according to the theory of zang-fu syndrome differentiation.Patients of Lung and kidney Qi deficiency type of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in stationary phase were treated by Quan-zhen-yi-qi decoction. After analyzing the data collected by observing clinical symptoms,BODE index, CAT index and MIP changes,we evaluate the curative effect of Quan-zhen-yi-qi decoction for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease stabilization and its influence on respiratory muscle fatigue. Methods:In strict accordance with the inclusion and exclusion standard, we selected60patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients in stationary phase, and by using randomized controlled clinical trial design method we divided them into treatment group and control group, with each group30cases. Among them, The control group treated by Tiotropium Bromide, The treatment group treated by combination of the traditional Chinese medicine Quan-zhen-yi-qi decoction and Tiotropium Bromide, the treatment time of two groups are3months (one period of treatment), then analyzed by statistics programe. Comparision of the patient’s clinical symptoms, BODE index and CAT index and MIP in the improvement of the situation before and after treatment was conducted.Results:1. Comparison of the symptom scores for the treatment group before and after treatment of traditional Chinese medical:significant difference was found (P<0.05); Control group in cough, sputum, wheezing, shortness of breath, easy cold Compared with before treatment, also improved(P<0.05). The rest did not see symptoms improve, no statistical significance (P>0.05);Comparision between the treatment group and the control group after treatment, symptoms including coughing, coughing up phlegm and wheezing were not improved, other symptoms were significantly improved (P<0.05). Comparision of curative effect between the treatment group and the control group:the total effective rate of treatment group was96.30%, the total effective rate of control group was81.48%,comparison of curative effect between the two groups is significant different (P<0.05), shows that the curative effect of treatment group is better than the control group.2、Comparison of BODE index between two groups:for treatment group the difficulty breathing,6minutes walking distance and the BODE index were significantly different after treatment compare to that before treatment (P<0.05); for control group the difficulty breathing and the BODE index were significantly different after treatment compare to that before treatment(P<0.05), Comparision between the two groups after treatment, only in6minutes walking distance from the control group was significant different from that of the treatment group (P<0.05),the rest of the indicators were no significant difference (P>0.05). Results show that the treatment group can improve the degree of breathing difficulty and body movement endurance.3、Comparison of COPD Assessment Test (CAT) between two groups:there is significant difference of CAT between treatment group and Control group after treatment(P<0.05). there is significant difference of CAT of both group after treatment compare to that before treatment (P<0.05).4、Comparison of Maximum Inspiratory Pressure(MIP) between two groups:For reatment group, Maximum Inspiratory Pressure after treatment was significantly different from that before treatment (P<0.05), For control group, Maximum Inspiratory Pressure after treatment was not significantly different from that before treatment (P>0.05). There is no significant difference of Maximum Inspiratory Pressure between two groups after treatment (P>0.05).Conclusions:Compared with pure western medicine treatment, the combination treatment of Quan-zhen-yi-qi decoction and Tiotropium Bromide for patients of Lung and kidney Qi deficiency type stabilization period of COPD can improve the patient’s clinical symptoms better, increase exercise endurance, improve the patient’s quality of life and alleviate respiratory muscle fatigue.
