The Research Of The Correlation Between The Different Subtypes Of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome And Tcm Constitution

Objectiver:To observe the distribution of TCM constitution type in different subtypes in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome,and explore the characteristics between both on the distribution,in order to improve the symptoms and reduce the risk of long-term complications by regulating the biased constitution in every subtype in clinical work,besides,it can also prevent illness before suffered from disease and prevent transportation when suffered form disease.Methods:Choose300patients diagnosed by the critera of polycystic ovary syndrome as subjects from September2011to February2014in outpatient of department of gynaecology of The First Affiliated Hospital Of Heilongjiang University Of Chinese Medicine.The hypertrichiasis are judged by the trained professionals,and they also record the situation of menses,according to this,and the results of ultrasound and sex hormone text,all the subjects are divided into four subtypes.Every subject fill in the constitution of TCM scale in a quite environment independently,and finally,analyse the date then draw the conclusion.Results:l.In this study,the clinical characters of each subtype are as follows:93cases subtype I (31%),46cases subtype Ⅱ (15.3%),116cases subtype III (38.7%),45cases subtype Ⅳ(15%).2.In this study,the common type of TCM constitution of PCOS are as follows:61cases are constitution of blood stasis(20.3%),61cases are constitution of qi deficiency(20.3%),48cases are constitution of dampness and heat(16%),44cases are constitution of phlegm dampness (14.7%),28cases are constitution of yin deficiency(9.3%),19cases are constitution of qi stagnation(6.3%).3.The distribution characteristics of different type of TCM constitution in every subtype are as followsrin subtype1,25cases are constitution of qi deficiency(26.9%),21cases are constitution of blood stasis(22.5%),14cases are constitution of dampness and heat(15%),11cases are constitution of phlegm dampness(11.8%).In subtype Ⅱ,10cases are constitution of dampness and heat (21.7%),9cases are constitution of blood stasis(19.6%),6cases are constitution of phlegm dampness (13.1%),5cases are constitution of yin deficiency(10.9%),4cases are constitution of qi deficiency(8.7%). In subtype Ⅲ,25cases are constitution of phlegm dampness (21.6%),23cases are constitution of qi deficiency (19.8%),18cases are constitution of blood stasis (15.5%),16cases are constitution of dampness and heat (13.8%),15cases are constitution of yin deficiency(12.9%).In subtype IV,13cases are constitution of blood stasis (28.9%),9cases are constitution of qi deficiency (20%),8cases are constitution of dampness and heat (17.8%),5cases are constitution of yang deficiency(ll.l%).4.The distribution characteristics of different subtypes in common type of TCM constitution are as follows:constitution of qi deficiency in subtype I accounted for26.9%, accounting for8.7%in subtype II, accounting for19.8%in subtype III, accounting for20%in subtype IV; constitution of dampness and heat in subtype I accounted for15.0%, accounting for21.7%in subtype Ⅱ, accounting for13.8%in subtype III, accounting for17.8%in subtype Ⅳ; constitution of phlegm dampness in subtype I accounted for11.8%, accounting forl3.1%in subtype Ⅱ, accounting for21.6%in subtype Ⅲ, accounting for4.4%in subtype Ⅳ; constitution of blood stasis in subtype I accounted for22.5%, accounting for19.6%in subtype II accounting for15.5%in subtype III, accounting for28.9%in subtype IV5.Besides phlegm dampness and special talent,there are no significant differences between the rest of constitution and the four subtypes of PCOS.6.There is a significant difference between PCOS subtype III and PCOS subtype IV on constitution of phlegm dampness,as well as the ovary morphology change between phlegm dampness and non-phlegm dampness.Conclusion: l.In this study,the most common subtype of PCOS is subtype III,the most common type of TCM constitution is qi deficiency and blood stasis,the second common type of constitution is dampness and heat and the third common is phlegm dampness.2.The distribution characteristics between different subtype of PCOS and different type of TCM constitution is:the most common constitution in subtype I is qi deficiency, the most common constitution in subtype II is dampness and heat, the most common constitution in subtype III is phlegm dampness, the most common constitution in subtype IV is blood stasis.3.Besides phlegm dampness and special talent,there are no significant differences between the rest of constitution and the four subtypes of PCOS.4.Maybe constitution of phlegm dampness contribute to the ovary morphology change.
