Tcm Constitution And Sub-health State Epidemiological Studies

Objective: To study the screening standard for subhealth population, and construct subhealth subtype; to study the distribution of subhealth and constitution in population ofmetropolis community;to explore the correlation between subhealth and constitution.; to distinguish the difference and relation between theoretical constitution and tested constitution. Method:2575 residents above 15 years old were selected and studied through random sampling methods in Beijing; applied dichotomous non-conditional logistic regression to study the correlation between 8 scales of SF-36 health survey scales and subhealth screening questionnaire(dichotomous variable); applied EFA to get factors of subhealth screening items; applied polytomous non-conditional logistic regression for ordinal response to study the correlation between the factors of subhealth screening items and 4 scales of SF-36 which already brought into Subhealth-QOL regression model; applied polytomous non-conditional logistic regression for ordinal response to study the correlation between the 4 subhealth subtype and 9 constitution; layered by subhealth condition, applied canonical correlation research, to study correlation between 9 constitution and influencing factors.Results: Of the 2575 collected questionnaires, 2519 were qualified; BP,GH,VT,RE scales were brought into Subhealth-QOL regression model(χ2=654.08,p<0.0001); percent concordant 81.9%; got 10 factors of subhealth screening items which were brought into 4 scales'regression model, formed 4 subhealth subtype including pained subhealth, senilism subhealth, fatigued subhealth and psychogenical subhealth; pained subhealth had negative correlation with gentleness type, positive correlation with yang-deficiency type, wetness-heat type and blood-stasis type; senilism subhealth had negative correlation with gentleness type, positive correlation with yang-deficiency type and phlegm-wet type; fatigued subhealth had negative correlation with gentleness type, positive correlation with qi-deficiency type, wetness-heat type and qi-depression type; psychogenical subhealth had negative correlation with gentleness type, positive correlation with qi-deficiency type, yin-deficiency type and qi-depression type; canonical correlation of subhealth group was bigger then health group(p<0.05); canonical redundancy analysis showed standardized variance of the VAR and With variables explained by each other in subhealth group, was almost double of that in health group.Conclusion: The construction of subhealth subtype had statistical significance; different constitution had correlation with different subhealth subtype; theoretical constitution and tested constitution. were two different concept which had internal relations.
