| Objective: Discussing variation of the cytokine IL-6, IL-8andadiponectin levels in the children with viral myocarditis. Methods: There were40children in VMC group, who were chosen fromthe children diagnosed with myocarditis in pediatric cardiovasculardepartment of the first hospital of Jilin University from May of2012toOctober of2013. The patients were drawn3ml fasting venous blood asthe acute phase specimens in the next morning after they werehospitalized. After4weeks, the26discharged patients in stable conditionwere chosen to be followed up and drawn3ml blood as convalescentspecimens. All specimens were put in the non-anticoagulant sterile tubesand centrifuged for10minutes at3000r/min. The separated blood serumwas stored in-70℃cryogenic refrigerator for the further test. Aftercollecting all the specimens, they were thawed in37℃for test. Therewere20children in normal control group, who were chosen from thechildren came to the hospital for physical examination in the same periodwithout congenital heart disease, cardiomyopathy, other cardiac disease, infections and other medical history. The ELISA method for quantitative determination of VMC groupand normal control group children the content of serum adiponectin,IL-6,IL-8.Results:1.Acute phase serum ADP levels (6.36±2.02)μg/ml was lowerthan the control group (12.52±3.13)μg/ml and convalescent children(11.19±2.05)μg/ml which means serum ADP levels in the recoveryperiod grew compared with the acute period, but it was still lower thanthat in the control group. Therefore the differences were statisticallysignificant (P<0.01).2. CK-MBmass in the children in the acute phase(4.70±0.78)ng/ml was higher than control group (1.48±0.54)ng/ml andconvalescent children (1.55±0.65)ng/ml. Therefore the difference wasstatistically significant (P <0.01). The difference in the recovery periodand the control group were no significant (P>0.05).3. The IL-6content inthe children in the acute phase (69.50±7.66)pg/ml increasedsignificantly compared with the children in the recovery period (34.03±6.90)pg/ml and those in the control group (31.72±5.96)pg/ml, so thedifference was statistically significant (P<0.01) and the difference in therecovery period and the control group were no statistically significant(P>0.05).4. The IL-8content in the children in the acute phase (85.87±10.27)pg/ml increased significantly compared with the children in therecovery period (64.74±10.90)pg/ml and those in the control group(68.96±14.07)pg/ml, so the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01) and the difference in the recovery period and the control groupwere no statistically significant (P>0.05).5. The serum ADP levels and CK-MBmass in the children in the control group and two periods showednegative correlation (r=-0.984,-0.906,-0.899; P <0.01).6. The serumADP levels and IL-6content in the children in the control group and twoperiods showed negative correlation (r=-0.856,-0.868,-0.940; P <0.01).7.The serum ADP levels and IL-8content in the children in the controlgroup and two periods showed negative correlation (r=-0.925,-0.792,-0.928; P <0.01).Conclusion: ADP was involved in the pathogenesis of VMC group, andcan be seen as a observed and reference index in the evolution, diagnosisand treatment of the diseas. |
