Analysis And Comparison Of BP180Antibody In Bullous Pemphigoid And Neurologieal Disease

Objective: Analyze and compare the different expression ofBP180antibody in peripheral serum of the patients with bullouspemphigoid (bullous pemphigoid， Bp) or neurologieal disease(neurologieal disease， ND), to investigate whether it has someisoforms(skin-subtypes、 nerve-subtypes etc),and the presence ofhomology of these isoforms, thereby further researching thepathogenesis of bullous pemphigoid and combined neurologieal disease.Methods: Collected peripheral blood of the patients with bullouspemphigoid, the patients with nrurologieal and the healthydonor. Detected the expression of BP180antibodg by immunosorbentassay (ELISA).Results: There were high expression of BP180antibody inBP group while no expression in normal control group (group NOR).the reading between in54.421-205.453in BP group, which was highersignificantly than0.074-3.163in healthy donor group. In addition, there were highest readings in ND+BP group (18.398-301.596). In the NDgroup，7/20patients were detected BP180positive, including4withcerebral hemorrhage，3with cerebralthrombosis. The highest reading39.638in the patients with cerebral infarction. There were nosignificant difference between BP and BP+ND groups. Every othercomparsions has statistically significant difference, it was defined asp<0.05.Conclusion: ELISA is a sensitive tool for the detection of BP180antibody. It can increase diagnostic rate that combined with clinicalfeatures. BP180may have the skin and brain tissue， and there may bepresence of homology between these isoforms. If BP180antibodyexpress positive in the serum of patients with ND, this may signal thatthe bullous pemphigoid would occur. We infer that the blood-brainbarrier damage when ND occurred, it cause that the production ofAutoantibodies after exposure to antigen and then immune cross-linkingof skin-subtypes and nerve-subtypes. Effect of the cytokines, theimmune complex participate in immune reaction, cause the BP.
