Objective: Exploring Yanghen Pingchuan Granulesin treating bronchial asthma withthe clinical curative effect of patients with chronic duration, and further to research theserum in patients with asthma, sputum eosinophils (EOS), eosinophil cationic protein(ECP) and interleukin (IL-5, IL-13), provides the biological basis for the optimizationof asthma treatment.Methods:60patients were randomly divided into Chinese medicine treatment group,combined treatment group and control group20cases with western medicine. Jointgroup: Yanghen Pingchuan Granules1bag, three times a day, salmeterol/fluticasoneinhalant50/250ug, qd. Chinese traditional medicine group: Yanghen PingchuanGranules1bag, two times a day. Western medicine group: salmeterol/fluticasoneinhalant,50/250of ug, the bid. The above courses are for4weeks, may use salbutamolaerosol on demand. Compare three groups of clinical curative effect and EOS, ECP, IL-5, IL-13indicators change.Results:1. The total curative effect comparison, Chinese medicine group was85%,joint group total effective rate was90%, the western medicine group was85%,the comparison between the3groups (p>0.05).2weeks after treatment, lung functiongroup joint FEV1.0%, FEV1/FVC, PEF differences compared with before treatment (p<0.05), Chinese medicine, western medicine group FEV1/FVC, PEF differencescompared with before treatment (p<0.05). Treatment after comparison between the3groups has no statistical significance (p>0.05). Compared before and after4weeksafter treatment, FEV1.0, FEV1/FVC%%, PEF, MEF50, MEF75%three group beforethe treatment had significant difference (p<0.01); After treatment, FEV1.0%,FEV1/FVC index, joint group compared with the western medicine group (p<0.05),combined with traditional Chinese medicine group is no statistical significance(p>0.05); Traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine group comparisonFEV1.0%, PEF was statistically significant (P<0.05), FEV1/FVC is no statistical significance (P>0.05); PEF index, the joint group compared with the traditionalChinese medicine group had no statistical significance (P>0.05); MEF50, MEF75%indicator, comparison between the3groups had no statistical significance (P>0.05).Three groups ACT score before the treatment had significant difference (p<0.01), aftertreatment comparison between the three groups has no statistical significance (p>0.05).2.Serum EOS, ECP index, joint group before the treatment had significant difference(p<0.05), index of EOS, traditional Chinese medicine, western medicine group beforethe treatment had significant difference (p<0.01), index of ECP, traditional Chinesemedicine, western medicine group is no significant difference before treatment (p>0.05); EOS, ECP index after treatment, the comparison between the three groups hadno statistical significance (p>0.05).3.Sputum EOS, ECP index, was to compare the3group were significant difference (p<0.05); EOS, ECP comparison after treatment, the joint group compared with thewestern medicine group was statistically significant (p<0.05), combined withtraditional Chinese medicine group compare ECP index was statistically significant (p<0.05), on the index of EOS, the traditional Chinese medicine and western medicinegroup is statistically significant (p<0.05), ECP index of TCM and western medicinegroup is no statistical significance (p>0.05).4. Serum IL-5, IL-13indicators, joint group before the treatment had significantdifference (p<0.01), Chinese medicine group, IL-5indicators have significantdifference (p<0.01), the western medicine group, IL-13indicators have significantdifference (p <0.01), after treatment, IL-13indicators,Conclusion:1. Yanghen Pingchuan Granules can effectively relieve clinical symptomsin patients with asthma, significantly improve the patient’s lung function and quality oflife.2. Yanghen Pingchuan Granules can relieve asthma airway inflammation andreduce airway hyperresponsiveness, may be related to inhibition of eosinophils, theinflammatory markers interleukin secretion, this may be Yanghen Pingchuan Granulesis one of the mechanism of action of prevention and treatment of bronchial asthma.
