Clinical Observation And Effect Of Pingchuan Granules On Serum MIF And GRα Of Patients In Chronic Persistent Asthma (Yang Deficiency Type)

Objective: Our objective was to observe the clinical symptoms,ACT score,lung function and serum MIF and GRα expressions of patients in chronic persistent asthma(Yang deficiency type)treated by Pingchuan Granules before and after treatment,so as to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Pingchuan granules in the treatment of this disease.To elucidate the mechanism of pingchuan granule on serum MIF and GRα.Methods: We observed 70 patients who met the inclusion criteria in the Respiratory Outpatient Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine from January to December 2020.Patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with35 cases in each group.The control group was given Budesonide and Formoterol Fum arate Powder for Inhalation,160μg/4.5μg/ time,inhalation twice a day.The treatment group was additionally given Pingchuan granules(2 bags/time,3 times a day)on the basis of inhalation of Budesonide and Formoterol Fum arate Powder for Inhalation(same dosage as the control group).The treatment course of both groups was 4 weeks.Syndrome score,ACT score,lung function,serum MIF and GRα levels detected by Elisa were recorded before and after treatment in 2 groups.Results:1.The total effective rate of the treatment group was 91.18% and that of the control group was 81.82%.The curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).The TCM symptoms of 2groups were improved after treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group was significantly better than the control group(P<0.05)in the manifestations of chills,cold limbs,pallor and tenderness of waist and knees.2.ACT scores in both groups were significantly increased after treatment(P<0.05),and those in the treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).3.The expression of MIF in serum of 2 groups after treatment was significantly lower than that before(P<0.05),and the expression of MIF in treatment group was significantly lower than that in control group(P<0.05).Serum GRα in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05),but no significant improvement was observed in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Pingchuan granules could improve the clinical symptoms,signs and ACT scores of patients with chronic persistent asthma(Yang deficiency type).2.Pingchuan granules could significantly reduce the expression of MIF and increase the expression of GRα in serum of patients,and may achieve the therapeutic goal by regulating the above factors.
