Objective:To explore a new anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial external drugs; To madeDragon’s Blood powder into nano spray through nanotechnology; To study itsanti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects.Methods:1. Obtain of Nano Dragon’s Blood sprays: Choose Chinese patent medicineDragon’s Blood capsules, peel and get Dragon’s Blood powder. Through modernnanotechnology, mixed them with alcohol and other substances and put them into apressure spray bottle, then get the Nano Dragon’s Blood sprays. According to the doseof Dragon’s Blood, get nano-Dragon’s Blood sprays number1-5.2. Pick70Kunming mice, weight (22±2.0) g, and divided them into seven groupsrandomly,10in each group. Control group (saline),0.5%dexamethasone group(positive control), Dragon’s Blood spray number1-5group. Methods models of crotonoil induced ear inflammation in mice to evaluate the anti-inflammatory effects of nanoDragon’s Blood sprays.3. Pick42Kunming mice, weight (22±2.0) g, and divided them into seven groupsrandomly,6in each group. Methods models of acetic acid induced peritonitis in mice toevaluate anti-inflammatory effects of nano Dragon’s Blood sprays. 4. Pick Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhimurium, methodsof Petri dish by drug sensitivity test hole to evaluate the inhibitory effect of nanoDragon’s Blood sprays to above strains.5. Statistical TreatmentThe results were treated statistically by software SPSS17.0. Through single factoranalysis, t test between groups with significant differences, with the mean±standard (X±S), P <0.05was considered statistically significance, P <0.01indicates a significanteffect.Results:1. In the study of inhibition of croton oil induced ear inflammation in mice, earsswollen was significant in saline control group. Positive drug dexamethasone group andDragon’s Blood spray number1-5group can reduce the croton oil induced earinflammation in mice in varying degrees. Swelling inhibition rate of dexamethasonewas75.30%, Swelling inhibition rate of Dragon’s Blood sprays No.3was68.30%, theSwelling inhibition rate of Dragon’s Blood sprays No.3was54.15%. Those three groupabove P <0.01indicates the anti-inflammatory effect is remarkable. Dragon’s Bloodsprays No.1, No.4, No.5, P <0.05, were statistically significant.2. In each group of pharmaceutical research of the effect of peritoneal capillarypermeability induced by acetic acid in mice, capillary permeability increase serious inthe saline control group, while the other test group has some inhibitory effect. In thepositive drug dexamethasone group OD value is0.282, Dragon’s Blood sprays No.3is0.294, P <0.01, significantly superior to other groups. Dragon’s Blood sprays No.1, No.2, No.4, No.5, P <0.05, the differences are statistically significant.3. In the inhibition test, trial strains are not sensitive to nano Dragon’s Blood spraynumber1-5, the inhibitory effect did not play, the result is negative. Conclusion:1. Dragon’s Blood sprays No.3can significantly inhibit the croton oil induced earinflammation in mice.2. Dragon’s Blood sprays No.3has the best effect towards peritoneal capillarypermeability induced by acetic acid in mice.3. Dragon’s Blood sprays No.1-5on trial strains: Staphylococcus aureus,Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhimurium have no inhibition.4. The new nano Dragon’s Blood Spray anti-inflammatory effect is remarkable.
