To Observe The Effect Of The Xiangdan Injection On Preventing The Epidural Fibroscar Adhesion After Laminectomy

Objective To observe the effect of the Xiangdan injection on preventing theepidural fibroscar adhesion(EPFA).Methods The laminectomies were performed at L3 and L4 in 24 adult ratsdivided randomly into two groups, they were called respectively control group(C), Xiandan injection group (Ⅺ). Gross observation and histological examinationwere undertaken for assessing EPFA respectively at 4, 6 and 8 weeks postoperation.Results The quantity of collagen fiber inⅪwas obviously less than the controlgroup, the experiment group was better than the control group at 4,6 and 8 weekspostoperation. It is significant difference in both groups (p＜0.05).Conclusions The Xiandan injection could reduce scar formation, loosen fibroscar andinhibit the formation of collagen. It may promote the degradating reaction of hematoma,accelerate the remove of inflammatory cells and prevent the migration of fibroblast cells.The drug of Xiangdan injection is effective in preventing postoperative periduraladhesion after laminectomy.
