A Study Of BaiLuYuan

"Bailuyuan" is Chen Zhongshi’s first novel. The writer believes that it is the first truly mature works. Many theorists believe that "Bailuyuan" has reached a new height and depth since the appearance of novels during a certain period. It breaks a stubborn view that there is one representativeness in one class and one literature in one era. It also opens up an unprecedently wide world for literary creation. Ever since a long time ago, the novel has been full of controversy and rave reviews. It wrote the national personality power and answered why Chinese feudalistic society could exist more than three thousand years. As time went by, more and more people believe that Bailuyuan is a remarkable milestone on the way of Chen Zhongshi’s literary creation and one of the important works in contemporary Chinese novels. This paper tries to interpret the original ecosystem of Guanzhong culture, the characters as well as the history and culture in the novel and it also analyses the artistic innovation and other aspects of the works, showing the national secret history and destiny that works reveals.
