[Abstract] This thesis mainly research on the well salt in Yuan Dynasty,Respectively discussing from the well salt producing area, well saltproduction, marketing modes of the Yuan Dynasty and the cultural of salt.The well salt of the Yuan Dynasty is mainly produced in Sichuanprovince, Yunnan province, Shanxi province, Huguang provinces andTibetan areas, and among them is given priority to Sichuan and Yunnanprovince. Thesis researches on the spatial distribution of the saltproducing area in Yuan Dynasty based on the previous researches.Since the invention and the use of Zhuotongjing in Song Dynasty,the well salt production technology has a great leap. The well saltproduction technology haven’t get the promotion and development inYuan Dynasty, because of the influence of the war.
