There are seventy-two resurrection stories in “strange stories from Chinesestudio”, which has a profound cultural origin. At the same time, there are somany resurrection stories in “strange stories from Chinese studio”, which havetheir literary sources.Pu Song-ling positive accepted the traditional thought about resurrection.First of all, dynasty and the region where he lived influence Pu Song-ling. Inliterary environment, the idea of scholar has changed in late Ming. The peopletend to focus on the things about their own. Second, Pu Song-ling was interestedin talking about ghost. Third, the author studied the experience of the formerto write resurrection stories.On the hand, the resurrection stories in this book cover all types of theresurrection works. On the other hand, these stories have their significantnarrative characteristics. What is more, the resurrection works in the book alsohave their rich cultural connotation and the thinking of the authors.“Strange stories from Chinese studio” influenced the classical Chinesenovel field in Qing dynasty, which had been in troughs for a long time. And theresurrection stories also deeply affect a large number of classical Chinese shortnovels of Qing dynasty. These novels learnt the resurrection plot content from“strange stories from Chinese studio”. In addition, in order to enrich theconnotation of the stories, the writers followed the method of implicit expressionfrom Pu Song-ling.
