Before Qin Dynasty, underworld view has been reflected in all sorts of stories and literature, such as Taishan administers the ghost,netherword, grave, and then the hell that form the Buddhism, and so on. Combined with the worship of the ghosts and gods in ancient China, with the pursuit and exploration into the underworld, the Resurrection exists in Chinese ancient literature and religious stories, through into the underworld, and through the resurrection, to express what they had seen and heard in the underworld.This paper is based on classical Chinese novels before Song Dynasty, analyse specifically the plot line of the Resurrection, and the unique concept of time and space,cultural value and influence, specific interpretation is as follows:The first part is the introduction, define the Resurrection, expound the basic plot of the Resurrection in classical Chinese tales before Song Dynasty. The second, teasing the research status about the Resurrection in academic circles and research methods used in this paper.The second part: Analyse the reasons and ways of being into underworld of the Resurrection in classical Chinese tales before Song Dynasty. In terms of reason mainly is divided into four kinds: being arrested because of the crime, hades recruiting officals, ghost collectors arresting falsely and all the other reasons such as illness. About the ways, mainly divided into three types: being into underworld from dream, being arrested by ghost collectors, including being into the underworld accidentally and other ways. Then analyse the passiveness and helpless of the person who enter underworld, and the difference of the ways of similar works after Song Dynasty.The third part: Analyse the tralveing in underworld,the important link of the Resurrection. First, the person who enter underworld has to accept the adjudgement, the guilty will be punished, someone could atone for his crimes by doing good deeds, which reflects the concept of karma. The next show what they have seen and heard in the underworld, including the city and the partners of the buildings,and cruel punishment. Finally, analyse character in underworld, show the daily characteristics and performance of the god and ghost collectors, at the same time reveals reflection of social reality and the concept of poetic justice from underworld.The fourth part: Analyse from the ways of the Resurrection, mainly divided into three categories, the first kind is getting resurrection by his own strength, the second category of which rely on outside force to regenerate, the third class is being released without charge and other ways. Next, through into the different ways of resurrection, explore into the happy ending of the meaning and function of the Resurrection.The fifth part: From the concept of time and space of the underworld, probing into the underworld space location selection and settings,and space distance and transformation, understanding and showing extraordinary imagination of the author, combining with the traditional funeral custom interpret time view of the Resurrection, mainly from the return deadline, time of world,time of underworld, to explore the transcendence of time and prolonged, etc.The sixth part: Interpretation into the Resurrection in such aspects as philosophy, religion, folk custom, literature of cultural value and its influence on the later literature.The seventh part: to summarise the article content.
