Beyond Realism

Wang anyi is one of the most active and important writer in Chinese contemporaryliterary arena. She was accepted by the critics with her strong creative energy andprofound literary achievements. Her literary creation began in the1970’s, throughout allstages of the new period, has been more than30years. It is hard to classify Wang into anyliterary faction or trend, because she has the constant innovation and change, update thereaders’ expectation horizon, and open a new realm. Through read and research works ofWang ’s integrity, this article found her new features after entering the21st century.Mainly includes two aspects: first, she changes it from realism to abstract rational,including the reason writing and fiction writing. Second, the changes is base on the dailywriting in the new period, the beyond of creation mainly through extension of gendernarrative and space transformation. This article discusses the content above, tease outcondition of Wang novel creation in the new century.
