A Sociolinguistic Investigation On The Grammar Differences Of Leiyang Dialect

Taking Leiyang dialect as the object of the investigation, this esssy based on gender,age, occupation, education these four variables and using the way of literature search,questionnaire survey and data statistics, to make a investigation form the perspective ofsociolinguistics of four sentences of Leiyang dialect, which is comparative sentences,interrogative sentences, disposal sentences and double-object sentences. After analysingthe data, there come up with three conclusions: first, differences in age and education isthe main cause of the change of Leiyang dialect; second, the change of the dialect has avery close relationship with the promotion of mandarin and the contact of the dialectnearby; third, the trend of Leiyang dialect is constantly simplified.The essay is divided into six parts altogether. The first part introduces the backgrondof the selected topic, the research status and the value, as well as illustrating the design ofthe questionnaire for this article.
