The theory of Language World Vision, based on Humboldt’s LinguisticWorldview, comes from the theory of World Vision and is an important field ofRussian Linguistic Culturology. Since the appearance of Anthropocentrism, thetheory of Language World Vision, which emphasizes on the function of "man" inthe language expression, has been unprecedentedly developed, giving prominenceto the cognitive function of the language."Concept" is another important category of Linguistic Culturology. There arealways some cultural keywords, which are called concept words in each languageand they can indicate the national material culture, social system, culturalconception and value orientation. The analysis of concept is one of the importantways to research into the essence of the national culture, and the Concept Analysisjust provides this kind of approach, which is to discuss and analyze the conceptthrough its derivation, interpretation in the dictionary and its embodiment in theidiom, proverb and text, etc."Conscience" is one of the most important concepts in Russian nationalintelligence. Based on the theory of Language World Vision, this thesis analyzesthe concept of "соnscience" from five perspectives with the application of ConceptAnalysis. The thesis starts with the microcosmic perspective and makes a study ofthe Russian worldview by centering on one concept word both from theSynchronic and Diachronic perspectives, while the analysis into the derivation of"соnscience", its interpretation in The Bible, the idioms and proverbs that contain"соnscience" as well as its fixed expression belongs to the synchronic analysis, and the study into the changing interpretation of "соnscience" in the dictionary belongs to the diachronic analysis. And then the character of "соnscience" and itsimage in the Russian national intelligence are further clarified through thecomparative analysis between "соnscience" and its related concepts of "honour"and "’shame", thereby its Russian language world vision also being clarified. Inrecent years, the research of concept is in the ascendant by Russian scholars bothat home and abroad. Therefore, the study of concept in the theoretical backgroundof Language World Vision has very important referential and directive significancenot only for the multi-angle understanding of the Russian national psychology, butalso for Russian study and cross-cultural communication.
