Sports dance is a fusion of sports and art embodied, physical education and art education is intrinsically linked to the crystallization. In recent years, along with China’s higher education pace of development, people’s material and cultural living standards greatly improved sports and arts and cultural integration between the gradual emergence of the trend, sporting a new kind of dance as performing arts, China’s rapid spread and the formation of two training modes-sports colleges (Sports dance) and art academies (ballroom dancing). Two models in the training, there are many differences:the formation of the reasons for this difference is; which model is more suitable for the development of sports dance education; as an emerging professional discipline, how to build a good combination of sports and arts professional training mode, really satisfy the needs of social development, shorten the distance the world sports power dance, is a question worthy of exploration and research.In this paper, literature review, expert interviews, video analysis and other research methods, through the Beijing Sport University, Shanghai Institute of Physical Education, Wuhan Institute of Physical Education and Sports Beijing Dance Academy Dance students, Shandong Art Institute, Jilin College of the Arts students ballroom training model for comparative analysis, obtained the following results:1、Sports dance in the rapid development of China’s sports schools, art colleges in the relatively slow development, only the Beijing Dance Academy thriving.2、On the talent training target and education standards, consistent with the higher education to the students’Ideological and moral quality, basic knowledge and professional ability of the uniform requirements, but training in domain oriented, positioning, the respect such as administrative levels of different demands. Sports colleges training specifications of more comprehensive, pay attention to all aspects of the quality of the balanced development; and the art kind universities and colleges pay more attention to the professional theory and skills training.3、In the curriculum, sports colleges and sports dance curriculum courses such as the accumulation of a large number of disorder, there are courses in most institutions,"many and wide","large" problem; art colleges "designed and refined" caused by too much focus on the curriculum of professional training, types of courses are not balanced, leading to bias in students professional skills and professional knowledge of the basic theory of the vacancy.4n Cause our country sports dance training formation patterns of two different reasons: two academies in leadership, school running orientation, knowledge structure of teachers, students and the employment direction in the different.5、During performances, competitions, colleges and universities attach importance to technology, emphasizing speed, strength and explosive force," competitive" strong; art schools pay attention to performance, emphasis on emotional deduction," performing" outstanding.
