This article is based on the actual investigation and teaching practice, summarized the problems of the current spoken language teaching models of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, designed elementary spoken Chinese course task-based teaching model combined with the characteristics of the Chinese speaking class, and practiced.First, this article proposed the research value of it, made a brief introduction of task-based language teaching methods, and summarized previous research results.Then, this article study the teaching condition of spoken Chinese course. Investigate foreigner students and teachers of elementary spoken Chinese course. Analyze the character of the object of teaching and the advantages and disadvantages of oral class teaching at this stage. Find that the main problems in spoken Chinese course are spoken Chinese teaching like intensive reading teaching, emphasis on teaching language form, the teaching content that is untrue, and not truly student-centered.Subsequently, this article designed the task-based teaching model of primary spoken course of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. On the basis of the results of previous studies, this article presents the teaching principles of elementary spoken Chinese course:scaffolding; systematic; truthfulness; expression of meaning, taking into account of the language form; communicating. And it presented the overall teaching objectives of elementary spoken Chinese course. In the design of the teaching steps, this study designed a series of feasibility for elementary spoken Chinese class activities for teaching workers to reference. In the design of the teaching model, the biggest feature of this paper is to design evaluation methods, adopted process evaluation methods, design assessment details for reference.Finally, test the teaching effectiveness of this design in the specific teaching practice. Teaching practice in an experimental class, contrast with another class teaching. from at the end of the experiment, made investigations on classroom atmosphere, the learning active and the level of language form concerning in the experimental class, and investigated the teachers. Analysis of the practical results, summarize the advantages and disadvantages of task-based language teaching in the teaching practice of spoken Chinese course. And it discussed the task-based teaching how to change the teacher’s role in task-based teaching.Task-based language teaching model in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language in its infancy, although there are not sufficient conditions to promote this teaching model, the advantages of this teaching in teaching of spoken language has already apparent, and has made good effectiveness in the experimental teaching. I hope this study can provide some useful lessons to the spoken language teaching of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and it will certainly help to improve the current teaching situation, improve the oral level of learners.
