The Texts Teaching Plan Design For The Comprehensive Elementary Chinese Course

Texts play an important role in Comprehensive Elementary Chineseteaching, because they cover vocabulary and grammar of the lesson andindicate how to use them in practical contexts. In reality, text providespecific context for language teaching in terms of language structures,language functions and cultures. It is believed that linguistic teaching,comprehensive language skill drilling, and learners’ communicativelanguage competence enhancing all can’t be separated from texts.Whether the text teaching is good or not attach to the effect of theComprehensive Elementary Chinese Course. The importance of the textsteaching of the Comprehensive Elementary Chinese Course mainlyreflects on the following three facts: firstly, the text integrates languageelement, structure, function and culture. Pronunciation into the flow oflanguage, vocabulary is able to utilize, the sentence into thecommunication state, the relationship between sentence and sentencerelations and sentence and sentence group be reflected, static languageelements into dynamic communicative meaning of the words all rely onthe text to achieve. Secondly, texts provide the necessary corpus for thetraining of language skills, it can be used to train and improve students’listening and oral skills, and it can also be used to train and improvestudents’ reading comprehension and written expression capacity. Thirdlytext also provided the language-specific for students; show an importantmodel for students to improve their language communicative competence.The text gives student a guide for what to say and how to say.When the author practiced as a Chinese teacher, found there were some problems in texts teaching. So the author point out the problems ofthe texts teaching detailed: attaching important to new words andgrammar teaching, undervaluing the importance of text teaching,teacher-centered model make the atmosphere dull, text not closelycombined with the words, grammar, exercises and communicative skilltraining.Propose on solve the problems, the author give some suggestions:give attention to the texts teaching, change the teacher-centered model tothe students-centered model, close the texts teaching with words,grammar, exercises and communicative skill training.The paper using such documentary analysis， observations, andexperimental method as instruments with reference of the previousstudies in relation to Chinese language teaching, employing modernteaching theories such as cognitive Psychology, combining modernChinese teaching features，and basing on current Comprehensive Chinesetext teaching in the Hohhot Experimental School, this thesis aims todesign a new teaching plan for text teaching in ComprehensiveElementary Chinese Course. The thesis illustrates the processes andprocedures of the texts teaching of the Comprehensive Chinese Course,and gives a reference of the texts teaching for Inner Mongolia area andMongolia.
