The importance of the textsteaching of the Comprehensive Elementary Chinese Course mainlyreflects on the following three facts: firstly, the text integrates languageelement, structure, function and culture. So the author point out the problems ofthe texts teaching detailed: attaching important to new words andgrammar teaching, undervaluing the importance of text teaching,teacher-centered model make the atmosphere dull, text not closelycombined with the words, grammar, exercises and communicative skilltraining.Propose on solve the problems, the author give some suggestions:give attention to the texts teaching, change the teacher-centered model tothe students-centered model, close the texts teaching with words,grammar, exercises and communicative skill training.The paper using such documentary analysis, observations, andexperimental method as instruments with reference of the previousstudies in relation to Chinese language teaching, employing modernteaching theories such as cognitive Psychology, combining modernChinese teaching features,and basing on current Comprehensive Chinesetext teaching in the Hohhot Experimental School, this thesis aims todesign a new teaching plan for text teaching in ComprehensiveElementary Chinese Course.
