Modern Chinese Writers’ Discourse On The Relationship Between Grandpa And Grandson

This article mainly revolves around three aspects:first, the spiritual characteristics of generation image; second, reasons for the generation image; third, aesthetic significance on about the generation image ".The relationship between the grandparent and grandchild is an important part of intergenerational relations. Since1917, there have been a large number of family/family novels in modern literature, all of which involves the grandfather and grandson description. These are closely related to the survival of the state and the background and writer. The description about Grandpa and grandson of modern intellectuals when wandering helpless, suddenly found the treasure. They use their own spirit of literature.In the modern literature about Grandpa and grandson description has three main characteristics: profound and complex emotional, intellectual anti-conventionality and the spirit world conflict. Grandparent means "home" in the past, grandchild stands for "home" now and in the future. The generation image description reflects the spiritual sustenance of the writers. Then, I explore the reasons of this phenomenon mainly for retrieving the following points:Chinese traditional family ethics, social background, human relations and family memories, the writer’s life experience and gender elements and so on. Finally, land on the essence of literature--the aesthetic significance of study. Modern writers will own life experience into literary creation, imagination to construct a rich complex of the grandfather and grandson of the image. This kind of creation itself has a unique aesthetic significance. The aesthetic characteristics are mainly shown in the following aspects:first, plaintive style; second, tragedy aesthetic sentiment; third, the memories of the way of narration.By the way of intensive reading the text, this paper summarizes the connotation characteristics of the generation images in modern literatures, as well as the writer’s life experience. The paper also restores the truth of historical, finds out the reason for writing and use aesthetic theory to explain the aesthetic significance of this literary phenomenon. It can contribute to the study of this literature phenomenon.
