Study On The First Generation Of Gelao Nationality Writers

The first generation of Gelao nationality writers have not shown their talents until 1980 s.Although starting late,they started at a high literary level and they can never be underestimated.This thesis contains the achievements and characteristics of the first generation of Gelao writers with the multicultural development,and the author summarize the meaning of the rising Gelao literary history and make some comments on them.In the introduction,the author,you could find the definition of the “the first generation of Gelao nationality writers” firstly.The “first generation” mainly contains two periods,one is from the middle 1980 s to its end,the other one in the late 1990 s.The author firstly discussed former studies on the first generation Gelao nationality writers,we found they could not provide valuable and enough information.Even some studies contain some mistakes.This paper focuses on these insufficient points and mistakes.In the second chapter Starting from the origin of Gelao nationality and its folk literature,the author reviews the history of Gelao literature and claims that,through the long historical development,the historical and rich folk literature has dominated the Gelao literature but the writers' literature has been blank for a long time until the middle and late 1980 s when the first generation of writers came to the fore.This phenomenon is caused by both special historical factors and national regional polices after the foundation of new China,as well as realistic politic in 1980 s.In the third chapter,after intensive reading and referring to relevant literature theories,the author mainly discusses the writing strategies,values and literary forms of the lieteratures of Dai Shaokang,Zhao Jianping,Wang Hua and Xiao Qin,who are defined as the first generation of Gelao writers.In the fourth chapter,the author discusses the significance of the first generation of Gelao writers in literature history and their influences on the formation of Gelao nationality.The author also objectively elucidates these writers' role in Guizhou literary history and Chinese contemporary literary history,and makes comments on their literary achievements,shortages and potentials in improvements.
