Weimar Republic Of Germany Women’s Social Living Conditions During The Period Of Study

This article analyzes Weimar Germany women in family life,political life,professional life and living conditions under the Nazi’s shade at the end of the Weimar Germany. In order to measure women’s living conditions and to reflect the general characteristics of Weimar Germany.The article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is divided into two phases,including before First World War and after First World War. Before First World War German women had go to work,but it was still given priority to family.During First World War German women began to prove their ability and value on the job.The second chapter introduces the political life of women during Weimar Germany.In1919the Weimar Constitution determines the gender equality.German women began to join political parties,or became a menber of parliament.But they only be used to "keep up appearances".The political road of Weimar Germany women was still long.The third chapter describes women’s family life of Weimar Germany.Through still kept the traditional gender roles,women’s ideas about home,birth control,marriage were changed.The goverment also gave women social welfare to a certain extent,greatly improved the living condition of housewives.But this change was still limited.The fourth chapter discusses the Weimar Germany women’s professional life.Weimar Germany women got many employment opporrunities.Because of social stereotypes,women affected by education degree making Weimar Germany women still faced huge challenges in employment. At this time of women writers had become a unique scenery line.They observed all sorts of problems on the path of women’s liberation.The fifth chapter is about social living conditions of women under Nazi’s shade at the end of Weimar Germany.The attitudes of Right-wing parties women to Nazi were contradictory.From the initial resistance to the final submission,it reflected the party women’s power was weak. Weimar Germany young women were looking for the way of women’s liberation.But they failed at last."Women issues"are not only about their various interests,but also about all aspects of society.Weimar Germany women are the new era of women.Because of the limitations of time and women’s own cognitive deficiences,the fate of women in Weimar Germany are doomed.But it encourages personal reflection.
