Research For Protective Exploitation Of The Intangible Cultural Heritage Of The Urat Mongolian Nationality

Inherited by the people of all nationalities from generation to generation, the intangible cultural heritage is a pattern of demonstrating the traditional culture closely related to the lifestyles of the masses. It is not only a witness of the historical development but precious and invaluable cultural resources. China has many minority nationalities. The abundant and colorful intangible cultural heritages created by the minorities through a long-term practice of life and production are the crystal of wisdom and civilization of Chinese as an entire nation, the bond linking friendly relationships among different nations and the basis maintaining the national unity. Protecting and making good use of our intangible cultural heritages play a vital role in putting the Scientific Outlook on Development into practice and realizing the overall, balanced and sustainable development in the economic society.The Urat Mongolian nationality discussed in the article has been mainly located in the northern borders of Bayannur of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Throughout the history, flowing like a long river, on the basis of an inherited eight hundred-year Mongolian culture and thousands of years of grassland culture, Urat tribe has created and developed the distinctive and brilliant historical culture of the Urat Mongolian nationality, thereby forming the rich ethnic customs of the Urat. The origin and formation of the culture of the Urat Mongolian nationality can not be separated from the Urat Mongolian tribe. The history and splendid culture of the Urat Mongolian nationality are extremely valuable materials to learn and research various aspects of Mongolian nationality such as history, society, religion and national customs. However, with the social development accelerating, the modern economy is exerting more and more pressure on the culture especially on long-standing traditions. At present, an important research project facing us is how to preserve the rich and unique intangible cultural heritage of the Urat Mongolian nationality in an appropriate manner, while exploiting fully its existing social and economic value.The article introduces the purpose of researching the intangible cultural heritage of the Urat Mongolian nationality. Also, the article talks about the results of the overall research for the existing environment, preservation status, major features and distribution of the Urat Mongolian nationality represented by the Urat Middle Banner, analyzes deeply the current and potential difficulties and problems occurring in the process of protecting and utilizing this intangible cultural heritage, and gives some proposals on protective exploitation.
