Research On Protective Exploitation Of The Marine Heritage In Qingdao

Natural and cultural heritage is the crystallization of human wisdom and thetreasures of ancestors left. Inheritance and protection of heritage resources are theduty and responsibility of every citizen. However, in the process of globalization andmodernization, heritage resources are destroyed, especially in the coastal areas wherethe globalization and modernization are the fastest. The auther, taking protectiveexploitation of the marine heritage in Qingdao as thesis, analyzes the current situationof marine heritage in Qingdao and puts forward suggestions of protective exploitationin order to protect the marine heritage resources and promote the development oftourism in our country.Firstly, based on the analysis of research of domestic and foreign scholars, theauthor summarizes the concept, classification, and value of the world heritage,generalizes the world heritage in China and then focuses on the specialheritage——the marine heritage.Secondly, the article has listed systematically the marine heritage of the area ofQingdao and divided it into three categories——marine natural heritage, marinehistorical and cultural heritage, marine intangible cultural heritage. Marine heritageresources in Qingdao has5characteristics:(1) diverse types and high cultural value (2)most ancient heritage located in the surrounding areas, most modern heritage locatedin urban areas (3) most ocean intangible cultural heritage located in the surroundingareas (4) reflecting the colonial culture and military culture (5)high participation.Thirdly, the author discusses the benefit of exploitation and value evaluation ofmarine heritage resources in Qingdao, holding the view that protective exploitation ofmarine heritage has protection benefit, economic benefit and social benefit. Qingdaomeets exploitation conditions because of its economy, environment, transportation,tourism and talents. Through the questionnaire survey, using the analytic hierarchyprocess, the author selects coastal scenic spot, Xiaoqingdao Lighthouse Park, and fishing custom as examples to exploit.Finally, the marine heritage protective exploitation in Qingdao is also proposed.Based on the analysis of advantages and disadvantages, the author proposes3principles: protection first, sustainable development and stakeholder consultation,and sets up safeguard mechanism, including the government, investors, local residents,tourists and media. Through the literature research and field research, taking coastalscenic spot, Xiaoqingdao Lighthouse Park and fishing common as example,espectively the author gives suggestions of protective exploitation about3kinds ofMarine heritage in Qingdao.
