Parody is a kind of rhetoric which imitates one existed language phenomenon tocreate a new language phenomenon. According to the forms of parody, there can bedivided into six forms: parody of word, parody of phrase, parody of sentence, parody ofwritings, parody of canto, and parody of tone.The parody of style on Micro-blog means the language phenomenon which usesparody rhetoric at the character of style. The writer create it for abreacting or for a newway to express, these works are welcomed for their newfangled ways, parody of style ispopular on Micro-blog then. Although there are many scholars researched this languagephenomenon, seldom with the point of style. I try to research this language phenomenonin Ordinary stylistics, and combine other related subjects like Rhetoric, Pragmatics,Stylistics. With these subjects’ theory, I did a lot of analysis and discussion with theexamples of parody of style on Sina Micro-blog.This thesis includes four chapters. The first is incipit, include the value of this topic,the discussing of related concepts, the research status in china, the significance and theresearch methods. The second is the parody study of literary style. There are three parts:parody of poem, parody of lyric, parody of lines. Every part’s examples are analyzed, tosummarize the character of parody of literary style. The characters focus on the issuethat how the literary style effect the parody works, what’s the motivation of creaters,and what’s the form of parody of literary style. And about the phenomenon that “onemodel more copies”. The third chapter is the parody study of non-literary style. Thereare also three parts: parody of TV news, parody of celebrities’ micro-blog, parody ofothers, like official letter, display language of software, food introduction, prescriptionand so on. In this chapter, the characters of parody of non-literary style were summed upas the parody form is mainly build on the mood of one style, the “one model morecopies” phenomenon is found in the styles which have more literary characters, themost parody works are humorous, and almost all of them are short and concise. Thefourth chapter is the epilogue, about the characters of parody of style. Aftersummarizing the characters of literary style and the features of non-literary style, we can find that on Sina Micro-blog, there are more and more styles will be parodied. The mainparody forms are text-box-fill and tone parody. From the parody works, there can befound that the writers’ ideas of this society. And the “one model more copies” couldshow the value of the model. In the end, there are some shortcomings of this thesis.
