Owing to anthologies named Xikun Chouchang Ji, the Xikun Style poets have risento fame in the Early-Song Dynasty literature. The anthologies are well known for theirtidiness, strictness, luxury, beauty and abundant allusions. However, Xikun Style showa peculiar feature in the anthologies written by Xikun Style poets except XikunChouchang Ji. Those anthologies written by Xikun Style poets except XikunChouchang Ji, which are full of various topics, such as praising objects and feelings,writing in the way that following the emperor, speaking about Zen and Tao, pitying forpeople and bewailing demotion and manifold artistic styles, such as clarity, intangible,delicate and elegant, wide and fresh, riches and honour, abundant allusions, popular andfluent, possess fluent and various styles and show a new feature that different fromXikun Chouchang Ji. Meanwhile, anthologies written by Xikun Style poets exceptXikun Chouchang Ji are of great worth and of great historical significance, which willbe conducive to understanding fully Xikun Style, Baiti and Late Tang Dynasty Style’seffects on Early-Song Dynasty literature and the Xikun Style’s significance in theEarly-Song Dynasty, and even in the Song Dynasty whole literature.
