The Study Of Character Type About Zaju Of Yinfengge

The famous short drama <zaju of Yinfengge> in the middle of the Qing Dynasty,has played a decisive role both in the literature history or in the history of the dramadevelopment, and won the reputation for the author Yang Chaoguan. Following XuWei’s <Si sheng yuan> in the Ming Dynasty to establish the status of short drama playin the drama history,<zaju of Yinfengge>consisting of thirty-two independent andcomplete stories, becomes a masterpiece. Starting from drama characters, this thesisconducts a comprehensive study on characters type of<zaju of Yinfengge>. Theintroduction summarizes the current research of <zaju of Yinfengge>, and points outits achievements and shortcomings, which establishes the starting point of the thesis,namely the character type.The subject divided into three chapters:The first chapter classifies characters in <zaju of Yinfengge>, divided intoofficial image, female image, the literati image and the "little guy" image.The second chapter analyses all kinds of characters’ emotional sustenance by theauthor, including the official view, female consciousness, Confucianism mixed theBuddhism thought.The third chapter deeply probe the source of the author emotions, mainlyincluding the influences of Yang Chao-guan growth and official experience, erabackground of the middle Qing Dynasty, Chinese special cultural background.
