As the first generation of female writers, Su xuelin entered literary world in The May Fourth era and used modern vernacular Chinese to support "literary revolution." Su xuelin shows the same achievement with Bing xin. However, Su xuelin is famous for her comments on Lu xun. Furthermore, nobody has ever insulted Lu xun so drastically like Su xuelin. Between the initial stages of establishing the People’s Republic of China and nineteen eighties, Su xuelin’s name was erased from the history, her achievement was never mentioned except for negative criticism. By the mid eighties, Shen hui have put efforts into discovering Su xuelin’s achievements and researchers gradually approve her. Because of different historical and cultural context, the study of Su xuelin is not enough in mainland. Moreover, Su xuelin has a long life and numerous works so that the research is significant. Seeking out uniqueness and complexity of Su xuelin is the main purpose. From the culture personality perspective, we can find the specificities and feature the differences in personality and temperament of Su xuelin.
