Crossroads:Zheng Xiaoxu’s Politic Choice Viewed From Social Communication(1911-1938)

Based on Zheng Xiaoxu’s social and political choice as the research object, the political choice of Zheng Xiaoxu in his later years as a continuous process of adjustment, and attempts to explain the relationship between this process and the Zheng Xiaoxu’s social communication. On the occasion of1911Revolution, Zheng Xiaoxu was influenced by friends political differentiation, wavering political stance. On one hand, he pitied his reputation, trying to be a Qing loyalist; on the other hand, he has a strong the statecraft ambition, as an Republic official. However, after the events of the Yuan shi kai and Zhang Xun Restoration, Zheng Xiaoxu’s statecraft desire constantly frustrated. On the contrary, because PuYi put him in an important position and deteriorating situation of Republic of China, Zheng Xiaoxu gradually formed unique restoration of thought and ultimately put into action. After the fantasies which Zhengxiaoxu hoped northern warlords and external powers to restore Qing dynasty disillusioned, Japanese decoy and old fogies’struggle prompted Zheng Xiaoxu turn to the Japanese invaders, planning to set up the puppet state of Manchuria. Zheng Xiaoxu was supposed to restore the Qing Dynasty, however became the Japanese invasion of China’s tools, and Zheng xiaoxu finally lose all standing and reputation.
