A Study Of Czerny’s Etude

During eighteenth and nineteenth century, the piano music developed on the peak in Europe, composers created so many famous piano works. In this period.piano composers have not only created many excellent music works, but also created a lot of finger exercises which were used to train technology. Czerny was this typical composer.Czerny’s etude has been large circulated in our country during many decades. Czerny’s etude has been widely applied. What are Czerny etudes’ value? This problem arouse me a series of thinking. This thesis mainly focused on the brilliant achievements which Czemy had, the reason why Czerny succeed, the reason why Czerny created a huge number of etudes and Czerny piano etudes’ character and Czerny etudes’ practice value. In this thesis, based on studying the composer biographies, music history, Czerny academic works of literature,researching the reason of Czerny’s success and the value of Czerny Etudes. At the end of this thesis, with my analysis of Czerny etudes,I advised how to use Czerny’s etude and writed the prospects of Czerny’s etude.
