“letters to young lady-on the art of playing the pianoforte” of Czerny who is Austrian pianist,music educationist and composer written as an appendix to every school for that instrument,this article elaborated in the form of letters from the earliest rudiments to the highest state of cultivation.In the view of the important position of Czerny in the history of piano teaching,this papper intends to use its English version as a reference translated into Chinese and study.So that three-dimensional elaborate that Czerny's systemic point of view in piano teaching,and to provide some reference for players,let players better understand and grasp the Czerny and other piano works of playing skill and artistic features;Better help players understand the essence of the piano in piano playing and teaching;Better respect the wishes of the composer to study and play.The author tries to through the papper,reframe Czerny's art spirit in piano playing and teaching.This article is divided into four chapters:The first chapter is to Czerny and its overview of music creation,teaching and playing.The second chapter is analysis of Czerny part of the translation of this letter.Through the introduction of rudiments of the piano,touch and tone,expressions and graces note,harmony and playing sills requirements analysis of Czerny in piano playing and teaching in terms of artistic features.The third chapter is to understand the art of playing pianoforte.Through detailed comparison and analysis,with examples analysis from the perspective of higher level,with a fresh Czerny music art spirit in the field of music teaching and playing,repositioning Czerny status in the history of piano art history and contribution.
