Account for a large proportion of the rural population in the country, is a special group with Chinese characteristics, with the development of the times, the farmers have been unwilling to farming at home, a large number of rural surplus labor force in the slack time into cities, urban construction added to the big teams in. Enjoy while they built the high-rise buildings, we should share with them the rich resources of the city. Increasing emphasis on mental health in our society as a whole, the mental health of farmers are few and far between, and only a few still use the SCL-90measurements, not high practical value. Through interviews with rural adult, I found the adult farmers on the concept of mental health and the meaning is not very understanding, and also more focused on the description of the mental health and unhealthy expressions, rely mainly on relationships is good to distinguish between healthy and unhealthy emotional emotional reaction whether normal, whether they have the ability to deal with the events of daily life these three points, this study uses a Lee the Mita preparation of adult mental health measurement scale (AMHS) Nong’an the yellow croaker circle Township, Changchun City, Jilin Province, adult farmer groups and compared Adult Mental Health Scale total scale differences between different groups, different gender groups, different age groups, different levels of education groups and different marital status groups in the adult mental health scale mean and standard deviation on each subscale and the following conclusions:A rural adults of different ages and different educational level and marital status of mental health of the population significantly different in different gender groups was not significant.Two different gender in rural adults’ positive optimistic "subscale reached a significant difference on the level and showed women mean slightly higher than men.Three different age groups of adults in the "physical illness","anxiety and restlessness","social problems","positive optimistic" four subscales difference reached a significant level, and39groups in the mean age of39years than slightly above groups.4, different levels of education in rural adults’ physical illness "," anxiety, irritability,""social problems","depression depressed","positive optimistic"These five subscales were significant differences in the level.5, the different marital status of the rural adult population in the "physical illness","anxiety and restlessness","social problems","positive optimistic" that four subscales were significant differences in the level.According to the existing conclusion, combined with local conditions, make the following recommendations:1, to improve rural education;2, and vigorously promote the importance of education, improve farmers get educated awareness;3, carry out related mental health talks;4, to carry out colorful slack activities;5, to carry out mental health services.In summary, from the rural communities of adult mental health survey found that older age groups, lower education groups and married groups should receive more attention, they are smaller than age groups, a higher level of education groups and unmarried groups are more prone to mental health problems.
