Influence Of Adult Attachment On Social Health In College Students:Mediation Of Schemas And Its Intervention

A large number of previous studies have shown that there is a significant correlation between adult attachment and social health,but there are few studies on the mechanism of adult attachment on social health.Early maladaptive schema as an early form of cognitive mode,contains internal working mode of information,research has shown that with the adult attachment and social health has significant correlation,so this study discusses the maladjustment schema whether play a mediating role between adult attachment and social health,as well as dancing group guidance for its intervention effect.Study 1 revised the questionnaire of early maladaptive schema,and formed a formal scale through translation,trial test,preliminary test and retest,and tested its reliability and validity.Study 2 used questionnaire to investigate the basic situation of college students' social health,explore the relationship between adult attachment,early maladaptive schemas and social health,and test the mediating effect of early maladaptive schema.Study 3designed a set of dancing group counseling program to explore the effect of dancing group counseling on college students' early maladaptive schema.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)The revised questionnaire of early maladaptive schema has high reliability and validity,which can be used as an effective measurement tool to measure college students' early maladaptive schema.(2)The overall social health level of college students is higher than the national average.There were significant gender differences in role activities and social adaptation,with boys higher than girls,and no significant differences in other dimensions and total scores.Social health and the three factors are significantly different in grades and majors.Liberal arts students are significantly higher than science students in terms of role activities and social adaptation,social resources and social contact,and overall level of social health.In terms of grade difference,the average value of social health in the first year is the highest and significantly higher than that in the second and third years.The average value of the fourth year is the second highest,but there is no significant difference from other grades.(3)There was a significant negative correlation between the attachment avoidance dimension and all schemas except the self-sacrifice schema and the total number of schema,and the attachment anxiety was positively correlated with all schemas and the total number of schema.The two dimensions of attachment avoidance and anxiety were significantly correlated with the three dimensions and total scores of social health.(4)Early maladaptive schema plays a part in mediating the relationship between attachment avoidance and social health,and the mediating effect contributes 52.30%to the total effect.Early maladaptive schema plays a completely mediating role between attachment anxiety and social health,and mediating effect contributes91.66% to the total effect.(5)The dancing group counseling helps to reduce and change college students' early maladaptive schemas.The emotional deprivation,distrust/abuse,defect and failure schemas and the total of early maladaptive schema score in the training group are significantly reduced,and the total score of early maladaptive schemata is significantly reduced.
