This research report is based on the two typical lectures given in the China’s Education-aid Training Project for Other Developing Countries undertaken by the Northeast Normal University. One lecturer is Shen Xuehan, teacher of the Students’General Affair Department Office of Party Committee in Northeast Normal University, who talked about the Students’ Morality Cultivation and Affairs Management in the Institutions of Higher Education in China; the other lecturer is Liu Haimin, vice-president, Ph.D Supervisor of Institute of Educational Science in Northeast Normal University, who gave introduction on Major Moves and Trends of China’s Basic Education Reform in Past Ten Years. They also provided patient and elaborate explanations and directions to students who had come up with questions.Considering the background, content, characteristics and the main goal of the lectures, the interpreter chose different methodologies in order to face the "troubles". At that specific moment, potential methodology was used by the interpreter, who was not aware of that, and found them out latter. And we believe that decent translation work sends the information to the listeners in a faithful, expressive and elegant way, but these principles do not accommodate consecutive interpretation such as the lectures that we choose to research here. If the result could not reach the standard, we need to come up with better versions.The author analyzes the source texts in two aspects:cultural expressions; examples and statistics. And at the same time theoretical clues were offered, which guided the interpreter to adopt several methods at the time. Different interpreters may encounter different issues in lecture consecutive interpretings, whereas common characters still exist and need to be discussed. The author believes the tough issues:facing the cultural gap in educational lecture interpretation, dealing with mass of information, which matches the features of the source texts are the common problems interpreters may encounter. To deal with these difficulties, the author summarizes corresponding principles we need to follow in the third chapter. After pinpointing the problems, studying the problems, the author realized interpretation is a kind of complicated and instant work, therefore solid basic skills and flexible mind on-site are both essential. So the author puts the tactics in an expression----3P Strategies, including:good preparation, essence preservation and various practice in basic skills so as to solve the problems. Although the preparation and practice strategies in chapter four are not stressed very much through the discussions, because the report is a text-based research, the author still considers them extraordinarily important.
