During the period of social transformation, with the construction of new socialist countryside and the integration of urban and rural areas, the level of industrialization and urbanization in rural China is getting improved. The change of society promotes the development of rural economy and the improvement of peasant life. While it also makes the existential and developmental environment of traditional cultures increasingly complex.Rite is playing a very important role in the traditional rural society all the time. It’s always a means of communication between people and god. people to people, as also a way to integrate and strengthen social order. Ritual communication is also a special transmission mode existing in the rural society. It’s an important channel to promote feelings, strengthen genetic relationship, maintain society and preserve culture.During the period of social transformation, the traditional ritual culture meets with western culture, mass culture and city culture, thus causing great change in people’s affective state and value orientation to it.The contents and forms of traditional rite are changing constantly and its original symbolic meaning is also declining continuously.Under the background of transition of rural society, this thesis takes the wedding ceremony in Kong long Huangmei Hubei province as an example.Author analyzes its cultural meaning from the perspective of Cultural Anthropology, its tradition and communication mode from the perspective of communication. Using the diachronism and dynamic research methods to dissect the relationship between the social transmission and wedding ceremony in rural area. Quantitative study in sociology is also used to further elucidate the concrete influence and results. In the end, the author finds out the rule in wedding ceremony change from the interactive relationship in culture environment and people.On this base, author puts forward some suggestions to carry on excellent national culture.
