Research On The Ritual Communication Of "Xiang Lang Festival" In Gan Nan Tibetan Area In The Process Of Modernization

The traditional national festival is a product of the long-term development of the nation,and it is a display window of a national characteristic culture."Xiang Lang Festival " is a traditional festival in the Gan Nan Tibetan region.It has a history of hundreds of years.With the passage of time,it has changed,and it has evolved from a folk activity with a single religious ceremony to a large-scale national festival that integrates culture,trade,and tourism.This article draws on the ritual view of James W.Carey communication,takes the festival ceremony as the entry point,uses the field investigation method to explore the spread and change of the "Xiang Lang Festival" ritual in the process of modernization,and analyzes how the ritual acts as a medium to realize the national culture.Spread and use semiotic theory to analyze the meaning of each symbol in the ceremony.After summarizing and analyzing,take the "Xiang Lang Festival" as the starting point,first sort out the original form of the festival,understand the folk festivals and the differences between the monks and the folks to celebrate the festival.and describe the national culture and the people's psychology represented by the symbolic symbols in the ritual activities.The appeal further understands the impact of the ceremony on the local people and society.Then focus on the part of the ritual changes in the process of modernization,and combine the collected information to try to explore the causes of this change.In the end,I revisited the festival ceremony as a communication activity,and reflected on the dynamic mechanism implied by the change,so as to fully grasp the dynamic changes of the "Xiang Lang Festival" ceremony.This research is carried out in six aspects: firstly,it explains the geographical environment of the birth and development of "Xiang Lang Festival" and the rich religious and cultural space that gave birth to it,and describes the "Xiang Lang Festival" in the life of the monks and the lives of the common people.The differentforms of existence;secondly,the gradual exploration of the "Xiang Lang Festival" ritual spread and a series of symbolic symbols in the ritual,illustrating the national sentiments,national character and cultural characteristics behind these symbols;then detailed analysis The specific function of the "Xiang Lang Festival" ceremony is the maintenance function,inheritance function,regulation function and economic function of the "Xiang Lang Festival" ceremony.It can be seen that the ritual has enhanced the cohesiveness of the nation,inherited the long-standing Gan Nan Tibetan national culture,eased the emotional relationship between people,and the economic development that has been driven has become more and more obvious;Then,from the five aspects of the time,title,connotation,meaning,organizer and participants of the "Xiang Lang Festival" ritual analyze the changes of the festival ritual in the process of modernization,and feel the hidden features in the change;next,starting from the current environment,internal and external discussions triggered changes in the "Xiang Lang Festival" ceremony.Finally,based on the previous chapters,this study analyzed the ritual communication of the "Xiang Lang Festival" and the construction of regional cultural communities.And think about the spread and change of the "Xiang Lang Festival" ceremony.This research believes that “Xiang Lang Festival” is one of the most important festivals in the Gan Nan Tibetan region.In the modernization process of the Gan Nan Tibetan region,the festival ritual communication has been adhered to,abandoned,and integrated and innovative.The ritual communication during the "Xiang Lang Festival" satisfies the needs of the people,enhances the sense of national identity and belonging,and further strengthens the cohesiveness of the nation.At the same time,"Xiang Lang Festival" is a platform for displaying culture.On this platform,various ritual symbols symbolize the multicultural and characteristic national culture of the Gan Nan Tibetan region,express the national yearning,promote ethnic exchange,and integrate the kinship.The geographical relationship has also promoted the economic,social harmony,stability and development of the Gan Nan Tibetan region.
