Even though they are separated by hundred of years, some principles in metaphysics such as "ins and outs","ontology use","express meanings","move and still","body and spirit ","nature and religion" and many other concepts are inherited by Zhu Xi, and then Zhu Xi developed and improved these principles so as to establish a system of jurisprudence system. It can be said that, the two are intrinsically related in many respects, there is a succession of the two, and they belong to the same strain of internal development principles.Zhu Xi is famous not only for its Neo-Confucianist, but also a writer and literary critic. Through the concrete practice of literary creation and comments on ancient writers’ works, he established his own unique literary theory system, and in this way, he enriches the ancient Chinese literary world. Under the influence of the metaphysical ontology, he established the literary theory system taking "integration of literary and Taoism" as the core idea. Besides, on the basis of ideological reasonable reference to "Words meaning""heavy nature","Xujing theory", respectively he established his literary Creation Theory, Style Theory and Appreciation Theory. At the same time, based on Metaphysics, he makes a more reasonable interpretation of the Book of Songs, promoting the further development of the science of the Book of Songs.
