America sitcom was first born in the1940s and1950s, and the full English name for the sitcom is situation comedy, referred to as sitcom. America sitcom had grown and developed more than a half century, and it have become the most popular television program in U.S.A, and it also popular all over the world. American sitcom are so popular is because it has formed a certain narrative strategies and narrative models.In the paper, narrative theory was applied as a guide rule, and American sitcom is selected as the research object. After theoretical research, I summarized and analyzed the mode of narrative and narrative strategy of the American sitcom, helpful to the study and practice of the American sitcom. The first chapter combed generation of American sitcom and rheological at different stages of development, the main analysis of the rise of the American sitcom prosperity.
