Research On The Narrative Style And Narrative Strategy Of Chinese Situation Comedy

As a TV program type,the development of situation comedy in America has been for more than half a century, no matter practice or theory on it had already developed maturely.When it transplanted to our country, it still followed some basic rules which the American situation comedy has,but at the same time it also gradually fused some artistic ideas and element forms which possessed by China only,and then the Chinese characteristic situation comedy appeared.In the foundation of introducing the elementary knowledge of situation comedy, the thesis introduces the development of domestic situation comedy today. The key point is the analysis on the unique narrative style and narrative strategy of the Chinese situation comedy, the thesis will discusse its artistic feature and summarize its creation rule. The situation comedy's creation has not only enriched the TV program types, but also opened a new direction for the development of TV art theory. This thesis mainly divides into four parts:The first part introduces the concept and characteristic of the situation comedy and its development in China.The situation comedy displays its own unique characteristicon on the choice of the scenes, the establishment of the roles, the stress on the language, the development of the plot and so on.. Along with the mass culture′s starting, YingDa brings the basic rules about the creation of situation comedy into China, it unifies our traditional culture and region culture and presents obvious Chinese characteristic.In the second part ,the key point is the research on the localilzation characteristic of domestic situation comedy ,this research mainly from the angle of narrative style . When the situation comedy came to China, because of the thousands years of traditional culture ,it formed its narrative characteristic which China in sole possession of,and take this as the foundation , different areas of China appeared different region characteristic situation comedies. This part mainly studies three aspects of domestic situation comedy:the traditional"family emotion",the spirit of attenting realistic society and the deriving of region cultures.The third part′s mainly aim is the research of the creating way,it will obtain the reason of domestic situation comedy′s success through the analysis of the"hardware condition"it has.It contains the narrative mechanism,the construction of comedy situation and the narrative form.This part will explain its unique plot structure and study how to form the comedic atmosphere, in addition of these,the Chinese situation comedy uses one kind of narrative form named"the type of leaves",it breaks the continuity of watching soap opera formerly and brings the the audience one kind of unusual onlooking experience.The fourth part discusses the difficult position which today the domestic situation comedy faces with,for example,the the scope is narrow whatever on the creation themes or on the creation communities,and often has very strong rigid theorizing sense while entertainments populace,and then it affects its display of entertainment essence. From now on the domestic situation comedy should expand the developing path,and keep the pace with the times unceasingly. As a kind of new television program type,the domestic situation comedy will certainly have good prospects for the future development.
