Sentiment Of Playing The Pipa Concerto:<Little Sisters On The Grassland>

The Pipa Concerto "Little Sisters on the grassland" is a widely spread classic melody, for the first time in the form of concerto of Pipa with western orchestra, opening a new page of playing the Pipa and Pipa concerto. The composer created the playing techniques of the Pipa, which played an important role in describing the vast grasslands, Mongolian dance full of passion, the blizzard and the character of characters’ mental activity. The melody has great value in research and thinking in terms of subject selection, song structure, means of expression and playing techniques.This melody since its creation, some peers and academics have carried out the analysis and researches, but less narrative of the song playing techniques and insights. This paper describes my understanding of this song and the experience of playing techniques. I hope it could bring some references and inspirations to peers.
