This thesis will comb and interpret five contemporary Mongolian literatures“Wolf Child”、“Wolf Dam”、“Wolf Paean”、“The Four-ear Wolf And TheHunter”and“Wolf In The New Year’s Eve” to discourse the profound meaning ofthe “wolf” in contemporary Mongolian literature.On this basis,the thesis will exploreand analyse the cause of “wolf” from environment and religious cultureinfluence.Then we can perceive the similarities and differences of “wolf” between theMongolian literatures and Chinese literatures and to reveal the ethnic connotation ofMongolian literature.The thesis has devided into three parts:Part One:To discourse the “wolf” character in contemporary Mongolianliteratrues in the perspectives of national spirit、ecological anxiety and the the thoughtof humanity and the Shaman.“The symbol of Mongolian national spirit” firstly statethe “wolf”charater and graphics worship,then show the struggling life of the wolf andthe endless desire of human with the analyse of Ayunga’s “Wolf Dam”.Ayungaunifled the legend and the reality to write the wolf in human’s eyes and the human inwolves’ eyes and made wolf the symbol of the national spirit.“The wolf in ecologicalanxiety and the the thought of humanity” will discuss the constantly awakening of thehuman’s ecological consciousness. Facing the worsening ecologicalenvironment,people start to reflect upon themselves on the focus of man andnature.They creat many “wolf” characters as symbol of the grasslanddesertification、ecological damage and the alienation of human nature.“The view ofShaman” will mainly analyse “Wolf Child” which is write by Guo Xuebo to tell theunique significance of “wolf” charater of contemporary Mongolian literature.Part Two:To discourse the cause of “wolf” charater in Mongolian literature.“Thedecline of the national spirit” will pay attention to the disappear of national cultureand “Environment factors” will make the discussion in the view of Inner Mongoliagrassland desertification and the rareness of the animals.“Influence of religion” willmainly state the wolf graphic worship in the Mongolian Shamanism.Part Three:To precieve the “wolf” character of Mongolian literature in coordinatesystem of Chinese literature. To perceive the similarities and differences of “wolf”between the Mongolian literatures and Chinese literatures and to reveal the ethnic connotation of Mongolian literature.
