The Investigation Of The Discussion With The "National Character" Of Mongolian Contemporary Literature

After the founding of new China, there have been several discussions about "national character" occurred in contemporary Mongolian literature, it has important significance to the contemporary literature theory of Mongolian and its literature history. Based on the historical research, this paper makes use of the Mongolian and Chinese literature materials to sort out the "national character" discussion of the contemporary literature in Mongo lia. On the basis of explaining the basic situation of each discussion stage, combined with the historical and social background to explain the evo lution of the "national character". And focus on some of the major issues invo lved, trying to make a deep analysis. In order to reveal the “national character” of the contemporary Mongolian literature, this paper reveals the complex relationship between language policy and national character of literature, based on the reference of language policy and national character of literature. And through the analysis and research of contemporary Mongolian literature on the “national character” discussion, can fill the gap with the Mongolian and Chinese literature materials as the research foundation.
