Shabti is the most common physical carrier in the inheritance of the ancientEgyptian civilization. It emerged along with the development of the ancient Egyptiancivilization and eventually disappeared as the decline of the ancient Egyptiancivilization. It can almost be seen as a microcosm of the ancient Egyptian civilization.As a relatively enduring ancient Egyptian grave goods, shabti was deeply imprintedwith the cultural background of each historical period. Shabti plays a role of afterlifeservant in the ancient Egyptian tomb system, and the spells on it skilfully link deathand life together, affirming the relationship between the dead and the afterlife servantin a form of contract. Almost all the remains of ancient Egyptian civilization are theexternal manifestation of the ancient Egyptians worldview. Shabti is no exceptionwith its essence of grave goods and evenbecomes the mainpart ofancient Egyptian safterlife.
