When two targets are presented in rapid serial visual presentation, identification of thefirst is nearly perfect, while identification of the second is impaired when it follows the first byless than about500ms. Three experiments were conducted to investigate the effects of cuewhich beteewen T1and T2,in order to find the best explanation of AB. Employed a RSVPtask, in which participants had to identify two red letter from digit stream. In Experiment1,the colour of distractor beteewen T1and T2include red (cue-distractors;experimentcondition) and black(control condition). In the second experiment,we manipulate the locationof cue-distractor: follow T1or front of T2. In Experiment3,we manipulate the the location ofcue-distractor in Lag7condition. It was show that the cue beteewen T1and T2whichreduce attentional blink magnitude compared to a condition in which distractor beteewen T1and T2,that is control explanation are better than capacity explanation. The location ofcue-distractor not influence the attentional blink magnitude in Experiment1and Experimen3,indicate delayed attentional engagement of AB is best for explanation the cue-effect in thisresearch.
