Research On The Cao Pi’s Personality And His Literary Writing

The research on Cao Pi has always been neglected, and the academic circles stillmainly concentrate on the study of artistic characteristics of his poetry, comment of“Dian Lun Lun Wen”, status and the influence of his literary creation, which some ofthem are about the study of The Three CAOS’ comparative or Jian’an literature. Onthe basis of research results of preceding people and current study situation, the thesistries to carry out systematic analysis of Cao Pi’s personality, and discusses the reflectand influence of Cao Pi’s personality on his literary writing.Then tried to demonstratethe relationship of his personality, literary creation and literary development. Finallyto restore the real one of Cao Zihuan.The thesis includes five parts:Part one is the introduction and literature review. It introduces the origin andsignificance of the research, and the situation of current academic study of Cao Pi’sliterary writing.The first chapter analyzes the character of Cao Pi. That cute, delicate, gloomy,implicit, publicity, suspicious, eccentric, violence and vicious. Then find out theevidence of the harmonious and conflicting personality characteristics through thehistorical data.The second chapter is the reasons about Cao Pi’s personality. The main factors ofthe formation of Cao Pi’s personality are the character, genetic factors, family factors,external factors and psychological factors. Link up the events in Cao Pi’s life growing,and analyzes the influence to the formation of his personality, will eventually revealedhis personality through his mental journey.The third chapter discusses the influence on the literary creation and theperformance of Cao Pi’s personality. This chapter is divided into two parts, one part isdiscussed the poetry, the other part is discussed the prose. The part of poetry isdivided into three stages that creation phase associated with the life experiences. Thefirst is the early, the second is take office for storage period, the last is become theprince. The part of the poetry expounds the prose creation and performance indifferent period. In the prose section, it focus on the creation and the “Dian Lun” to the embodiment of the personality.The fourth chapter discusses the impact of Cao Pi’s personality and literarycreation. It analysis the influence of the personality and the creation to the writer of“Jian’an” period and the literary style, and it contact with the evaluation of the latergenerations to the literature of the “Jian’an” period to expounds the Cao Pi’spersonality makes it become the necessity of “literature conscious” pioneer, andaffirmed the positive contributions of “literature conscious”.
