Study On The Value Of "Business People" The Confucian View Of Life And Death

The viewpoint toward life and death is an important part of the philosophy of life.It is mainly concerned with the basic view and attitude toward life and death of people.There are a lot of sources in Chinese philosophy (especially in the main branch ofChinese philosophy: Confucian philosophy) on this topic. It is worth investigating,arranging and refining.The Confucian philosophy is life philosophy and mainly deals with people’s lifeand investigates the essentials of people, the value of being a people, the way of themoral practice and improvement of personal life, how to overstep life and death, howto achieve happiness and peace in life. The Confucian philosophy has a specialunderstanding of personality. Its viewpoint encompasses everything includingpeople’s valuing life and careful view on death and immorality and so on. Particularly,of which "people who are benevolent are the real ones"is the essential of Confucian’sdefinition on people. It expresses the view that Confucian’s viewpoint on life anddeath depends on people’s chasing on moral improvement. Morality is a basicattribute of people. In life’s faith, people should chase the harmony of understandingof life and improvement of life. Confucian wisdom of life and death can liberatepeople’s heart and rescue people’s hardship and buffer their nervousness and anxietyand thus it is beneficial to happiness of life and piece death of modern people.Recently,with the development of market economy,a new professional group—"business people"begin to prosper. At the same time,these people are facing thehappiness crisis and the hardship of life. The death of more and more "businesspeople"reflects the urgent demand of wisdom on life and death when trying to curethis group.This thesis is trying to solve the following aspects of this problem：the definitionof human being in Confucianism；the attitude of life；the view of death；how to putpeople’s these kinds of attitudes into practice. Then,sorting and mining the resources of life wisdom,as well as refining the rich and deep connotation are the main ways,so as to reconstruct the principle of value of life for "business people"and search forthe happiness of life.
